Step inside and you’ll immediately be drawn to the bright, open-plan living area and its large windows framing the beautiful lake and mountain scenery. The comfortable living room is a lovely place to relax after a day exploring, with a sofa, Smart TV and a small collection of books for quieter moments. Large glass doors lead out onto the panoramic terrace, one of the highlights of Casa Primo Sole. Start the morning here with coffee overlooking the lake or enjoy a glass of wine as the light changes over the mountains in the evening. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals at home, whether you’re planning a relaxed breakfast before heading out or dinner with the family. Another special feature of the apartment is the light-filled winter garden, with its dining area and gas stove. It’s a welcoming space to gather around the table, share a meal and talk about the day’s Lake Como adventures.
The apartment is arranged over two levels, offering additional space and privacy. On the main floor you’ll find a comfortable bedroom together with a bathroom with bathtub. Stairs lead to the upper floor, where there is a spacious double bedroom with a dedicated workspace and air conditioning. An adjoining separate room offers a single bed and wardrobe space. Please note that there is no corridor between these two rooms, making this arrangement particularly suitable for families with children. A second bathroom with shower is also located upstairs.

In addition to the panoramic terrace, Casa Primo Sole has its own private garden area at the back of the property, giving you another outdoor space to enjoy during your stay. Guests arriving by car have access to a private garage with space for two cars – a particularly convenient feature during Lake Como’s busy summer months.

Casa Primo Sole is located in a hamlet of Vercana in a beautiful setting offering a true local experience, surrounded by traditional houses, small alleys, and scenic views of the lake and mountains.
Staying here means enjoying the slow pace and authentic charm of a Lake Como hamlet, while still being only a short drive from the lakeside town of Domaso, with its restaurants, beaches, and ferry connections. While in the village you’ll find a small local grocery shop where you can buy fresh bread and daily essentials, as well as a friendly café and pizzeria (the last open seasonally from Easter to late autumn), perfect for a relaxed breakfast, coffee, or an easy dinner close to home. The surrounding area is perfect for scenic walks through the village, exploring historic alleys, or hiking trails that start right above the house and lead into the mountains with stunning views over Lake Como.
Due to the hillside location and the typical layout of Lake Como villages, we recommend having a car during your stay. Vercana sits above the lake and is connected by narrow roads and pedestrian paths if you want to walk down to the lake (roughly 20 mins). Like many villages around Lake Como, public transport is limited and taxis are not readily available and need to be booked in advance. Having a car will make it much easier to reach nearby towns and other attractions around the lake.
